Tony in the Mid-West - March 28th to April 1st 2011

As part of his job, Tony travels throughout the United States with Regional Managers & Independent Reps who work for him. He helps develop their sales techniques & focus for the brands his company represents, and also call on Key Accounts within their territories in order to maximize business.
This week took him to Kansas City in Kansas/Missouri & Minneapolis in Minnesota. With layovers in Phoenix, Chicago & Denver along the way, his route looked something like this:

At least traveling all over America you get to try the local favourite cuisine. Of course in Kansas City it has to be BBQ and those Burnt End Ribs smothered in Smokey sauce tasted fantastic. Washed down with a local brew of course! - And you wonder why Tony has a problem losing weight?

Minneapolis Skyline from the Freeway

Minneapolis has had one of the longest winters on record and the snow is still on the ground in some places. The temperature this week was in the high 30's, low 40's (that's under 7C), while Jen back in California enjoyed temperatures of 92F (33C) on Thursday!

A long week leaving home at 7.30am on Monday and getting back at 12.30am on Saturday, but glad to be home for the week-end!
